Henriksen Amplifiers is all about tone first, the incredibly portable size and feature set of The Bud were developed around the sound, not the other way around and you can definitely hear the difference. I was actually planning to the buy a 10″ Henriksen amplifier, either the Bud TEN or the Blue TEN, but ended up choosing the Bud SIX because of its fast respons w the smaller speaker and an extremely beautiful sound with classical guitar. In 2005, our founder Bud Henriksen began working on an amplifier to fill what he saw as a void in the marketplace for a guitar amplifier designed to meet the needs of jazz guitar players who wanted extremely high quality sound in a portable package.
